The Self-Heating Meals

     We are also a leading supplier of self-heating meals to the military.  Our HeaterMeals line has been named to the Government Food Service magazine's Top 100 Government Food Service Suppliers for the past three years.  The list details the top food suppliers who sell to the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP).  In fact, several of the HeaterMeals products were the result of our close ties with the military.  The HeaterMeals Plus, Self-Heating Meal Kit, product line was  developed with guidance from the Joint Culinary Center of Excellence (JCCoE, formerly ACES at Fort Lee, VA). 

     We first created HeaterMeals,® The Self-Heating Meal,™in 1994 by combining our military heating technology with homestyle entrees designed for typical adults.

     HeaterMeals Entrées offer 35% to 55% less sodium content than other shelf-stable emergency meals.  With tasty 12 ounce entrees (50% larger than MREs), HeaterMeals® are the #1 mobile hot meal choice for emergency preparedness, outdoor recreation activities, or just whenever you're hungry!

     In 2000, with guidance from the Joint Culinary Center of Excellence (JCCoE, formerly ACES at Fort Lee, VA.), we developed HeaterMeals Plus,™ The Self-Heating Meal,™ Plus all The Fixings.™   HeaterMeals Plus is a Complete Meal Kit with brand name snacks and a beverage.

     In 2006, at the request of the American Red Cross, we introduced HeaterMeals 3®,™ The Self-Heating Meal,™ With up to a 3 Year Shelf Life, based on the production date.  HeaterMeals 3 is an extended storage meal kit with a 3/4 pound Entrée, brand name snacks, and a beverage mix.

     In 2007, in answer to the need for a long shelf-life storage option, HeaterMeals EX™ The Self-Heating Meal,™Designed for EXtended Storage,™ was created with up to a 5 year shelf life, based on the production date.
